MM Valentine's Day Short Story Giveaway!

Hello, all! I'm super excited to be joining this fabulous list of authors for a fun MM Valentine's Day short story giveaway! My contribution is In the Cards, A Four Kings Security Short. Although this story is releasing before Diamond in the Rough, Four Kings Security Book 4, it actually takes place after in the timeline, but don't worry, this short has no spoilers or even mentions of anything that happens in Diamond in the Rough, so you can read it without worry. Why the weirdness? Well, Diamond in the Rough was supposed to be released before the Valentine's Day short, but sometimes--many times--schedules go wonky and it is what it is. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this fun little story of Ace and the guys down in South Florida for Spencer and Quinn's wedding.

If you don't know who Spencer and Quinn are, they're from my cute little Dreamspinner Press novella Beware of Geeks Bearing Gifts. You can find out more about it here

To claim your copy of In the Cards, along with a host of fabulous freebies, just follow this link here: https://claims.prolificworks.com/gg/gBNSONLfVZwtRSir2oFM

In the Cards Blurb:

Love is in the air, and what says ‘romance’ more than a Valentine’s Day wedding? Anston “Ace” Sharpe’s is down in South Florida for his cousin’s wedding, and with his boyfriend Colton accompanying him, Ace has some Valentine’s Day plans of his own. Surrounded by his huge Cuban family, his brothers-in-arms from Four Kings Security, and a groom with a penchant for chaos, what could possibly go wrong?

GIVEAWAY RUNS FEBRUARY 8TH THROUGH FEBRUARY 15TH

Shiny New Website and Updates!

Hello, all! Welcome to my shiny new website! A few months back I started having all kinds of problems with my WordPress site and it was eating up hours of my time that I needed for more important things, like writing books. Deciding I'd had enough, I chatted with an author friend who recommended her web designers KMD Web Designs. These amazing and talented folks worked with me over several months to put together a site that didn't just look the way I wanted, but that saved me so much time on the backend of things. I no longer have to add or update info in a bunch of different places because the website does it for me. So freaking cool! I couldn't be more excited!

Along with ah ost of fun new features, my branding also received an update thanks to the lovely Jay Aheer. Some of the new features added to the website are playlists/playlist links, Pinterest boards, character bios, and character relationships. I'll be adding more bios when time permits, seeing as how I have a lot of characters. A really cool new feature is the linking of books and characters. You won't just see the series order when you click on a book, you'll see the list of connected books, characters, and more. The whole site had been revamped to make it fun and easy for readers to navigate.

For those who were signed up to receive blog posts via email, you'll need to sign up again on the FOLLOW THE BLOG box in the sidebar. The reason for this is that the site was moved away from WordPress. I apologize for any inconvenience caused. This does not effect newsletter subscribers.

UPDATES

As far as updates, there's so much going on over the next few months that I'll do my best to keep you all posted. The best way to stay up to date with everything going on is via my website--which I'll be doing more posting on now that it actually works how it's supposed to--and via my newsletter. If you haven't signed up for my newsletter, you can do so here:

Here are the latest updates on some of the things I'm getting most asked for at the moment:

Diamond in the Rough (Four Kings Security, Book 4) - is currently in edits, so if all goes well, we're looking at a February 19th release date. Once this is released I should have an idea about the audiobook as well.

TIN Book 1 - is in the works, and if all goes according to the schedule we're looking at a May release date. More info on that soon.

Four Kings Security spin-off series - kicks off this year with Jack & Fitz's book being the first book, followed by Frank & Joshua, Ryden & Jay, and Joker & Gio

Hell & High Water Manga - I'm still working on this and hope to get it done as soon as possible. With my schedule falling behind in November and December of 2018 due to the holidays and illnesses, it's been delayed more than I wanted, but we'll get there, I promise!

THIRDS Thursday - is still on hiatus. With the new TIN series starting soon, I hope to put together some fun THIRDS/TIN stuff, but with me falling behind schedule, I need to catch up on my writing before I can do any flash fiction. I'll be sure to post more sneak peeks and snippets here.

THIRDS Beyond the Books - I'll also be submitting the next two volumes to Dreamspinner Press in Feb/March. Once I have and know more, I'll be sure to share it here.

These are my scheduled plans for the first half of 2019, but you can always check my Coming Soon page for the most updated schedule. Remember that the schedule is subject to change and get moved, but I try not to do that unless absolutely necessary.

EVENTS

So far I'm booked for the following conferences: Coastal Magic, BookLovers, RWA Conference, and RARE London. For more info, check out my events page. I also have plans to attend GRL this year.

I think that's it for now! Don't forget the MM Valentine's Day short story giveaway is happening now until February 15th. You can find all the stories here: https://claims.prolificworks.com/gg/gBNSONLfVZwtRSir2oFM

Due to the sheer volume of folks downloading, we kinda broke Prolific Works, but we've been told it's all sorted now. Happy Reading!

Diamond in the Rough Cover Reveal and Blurb!

Hello, all! I'm super excited to be sharing with you the gorgeous cover for Diamond in the Rough (Four Kings Security, Book 4) created by the wonderfully talented Reese Dante. It came out even more awesome than I imagined. If all goes according to schedule, Diamond in the Rough should be out this Friday, February 15th!!

SYNOPSIS

For Ward “King” Kingston the role of protector, forged by fire and tragedy, is one he takes seriously. When King is asked to safeguard the son of a four-star general and friend, he is pulled back into the world of government black ops on a mission that raises painful memories from his past. The moment King meets Leo, amid the chaos of a lockdown at a secret black site, it’s clear he’s never faced a challenge like this—one that will test his unwavering sense of control.

Leopold de Loughrey is a misunderstood genius whose anxiety and insecurities are sent into overdrive when he is forcefully recruited to work on a top-secret project. Terrified of what his role as "invaluable asset means", Leo’s stress leads to disappearances, arguments, and blowups that threaten the project and Leo’s future. King’s arrival is a calm in the storm for Leo and his frenetic thoughts.

King and Leo couldn’t be more different, yet as they navigate the dangers of a secret multi-agency operation and face unknown threats, their differences could be what saves them. Neither man believes a happily ever after is in the cards, but their hearts might just prove them wrong… if they can survive a deadly betrayal.
