Remington Trueblood - The Amethyst Cat Caper
I'm afraid Chance and Jacky aren't in the running because the books have to have been published between Sept 2011 and before June 1st 2012. Here's what All Romance eBooks posted:
SUMMER'S HOTTEST HERO CONTEST

If you didn't win, don't you worry. On my sidebar you'll see a schedule of dates with yet more giveaways. In fact coming up this week, Dreamspinner Press is offering a free eBook of The Auspicious Troubles of Chance at Reviews by Jessewave, so keep an eye out for a date.
And next Thursday, on July 5th, I'll be a guest over at Joyfully Jay offering another free eBook of The Auspicious Troubles of Chance, so drop on by.
For those of you who may not know me, my name is Charlie and I'm an author of MM Historical Romance set mainly in the 1920s and 1930s.
My heroes range from whiskey guzzling, grumpy Private Investigators to refined English Tea House proprietors. From the Jazzy 20s to the Big Band 30s, my fellas get themselves into all sorts of trouble, but I guarantee there will always be a handsome fella at his side--though he might just be the source of that trouble.
I know when it comes to my characters, no matter how some of them might fight it, they all give in to love. They might go kicking and screaming, they might just dreamily throw themselves into it without so much as dipping a toe to test the waters, but in the end, they get their happily ever after, and that's a big part of why I write MM Romance--to see these fellas fall in love.
Onto the hop!

It's been a long while since I've been this nervous, watching as Chance and the fellas are unleashed upon the world. This is my longest novella to date and my first Dreamspinner title. I hope you all will enjoy it. Here's the blurb, and you can find it on the Dreamspinner website here.
Chance Irving is a young man with a gift for getting into trouble—not surprising, as trouble is all he’s ever known. After losing everything he held dear one fateful night, he decides to leave New York and his past behind, and joins the French Foreign Legion. But even in Algiers, Chance can’t seem to shake his old ways, and he ends up being transferred to a unit made up of misfits and rabble-rousers like him—a unit he finds just in time to be captured and thrown into a cell with his new commandant, Jacky Valentine.
A highly respected commandant with a soft spot for hard luck cases, Jacky is the kind of guy who would go to war for you, and the three equally troubled youths from his unit he’s more or less adopted feel the same way about him. Suddenly Chance starts to think that his life doesn’t have to be as desolate and barren as the wastelands around him.
But even after their escape, with the promise of a future with Jacky to buoy his spirits, or maybe because of it, Chance can’t stop making mistakes. He disobeys orders, lashes out at the boys in Jacky’s care, and blazes a trail of self-destruction across the desert—until someone makes him realize he’s hurting more than just himself.
A Timeless Dreams title: While reaction to same-sex relationships throughout time and across cultures has not always been positive, these stories celebrate M/M love in a manner that may address, minimize, or ignore historical stigma.
